Operation

Speedtrap Chute blocker operation is controlled by hand with a rigid, yet flexible cable that is loosely attached near the operators controls for convenience. The Speedtrap allows operators various choices ranging between full discharge, variable angle deflection, and fully closed discharge blocking. The variable function of the Speedtrap provides a more custom approach to discharge, allowing operators the on-the-fly ability to quickly direct the angle of clipping disbursement, minimizing some of the typical pile ups that come from a full closure.

Operating example: 

As you approach a manicured area, simply reach down with your hand and pull on the cable, and the Speedtrap drops into the fully closed position, blocking discharge. Pull back on the cable again, and the chute will pivot back up into its resting position. Hold the plate partially open with the cable to allow continued discharge of clippings, at the angle which suits your needs. As contractors ourselves, we know the demands of the commercial mowing arena.
