About this item

Wrong application of this product can lead to injury. This product is to be applied by qualified healthcare professionals only. Delta-Cast Prints is a fiberglass-free casting tape designed for external rigid immobilization through casting and splinting for bone fractures, soft tissue and joint injuries. It can also be used for correction and prevention of anatomical deformities, orthotic and prosthetic applications, and off-loading purposes. The polyester substrate and the specialized resin formula provide high conformability to create an anatomical cast that conforms closely to body contours. Three-dimensional stretch, even unrolling tension, wrinkle-free application and a consistent working time of approximately 3-5 minutes support easy handling and reproducible results. DeltaCast Prints forms a strong, weight-bearing cast after approximately 20 minutes and the highly radiolucent material supports X-ray inspection without cast removal. The fiberglass-free polyester substrate provides a smooth surface with soft cast edges and creates less respirable dust during removal than fiberglass or Plaster of Paris (POP) casts. Cured casts can be removed with cast saws or removers, such as Delta-Cast® Serene , and up to four layers can be removed with cast scissors. Available in a variety of colorful printed designs, Delta-Cast Prints supports patient engagement while delivering breathable, lightweight comfort. The product is not made with natural rubber latex and allows showering, bathing or swimming when combined with water-resistant undercast materials such as Delta-Dry® or Aquacast®. Supplied in boxes of 10 rolls, choose between 5 cm and 7.5 cm widths. Also available - the Mix Pack! (Blue Camouflage, Leopard, Paws, Pink Camouflage, Sports) in 5 cm and 7.5 cm.
