A forged player's iron with refined, tour-preferred looks and compact shaping, including newly slimmed toplines, narrow soles, shorter blade lengths, and minimal offset, the ZXi7 is designed for players seeking unmatched feel, control, and workability.
The new ZXi7, Srixon's most played iron on tour, is highlighted by its updated PureFrame iQ construction. Leveraging AI-assisted simulations, Srixon's engineers were able to optimally expand the steel ridge forged directly behind the sweet spot while using less mass than the previous generation. This revamped design stiffens the impact zone and reduces face deformation, resulting in higher MOI and stability while maintaining the irons' remarkably soft yet responsive feel.
Mass distribution also progressively transitions throughout the ZXi7 set. Optimizing performance from club to club, more perimeter weighting enhances forgiveness in the long irons, while more centrally positioned mass elevates control and workability in the scoring irons.
Srixon finishes the ZXi7 with True Temper's Dynamic Gold Mid shaft and Golf Pride's Tour Velvet 360 grip.
Srixon ZXi7 Irons Feature:
- Compact player's cavity back with tour-preferred looks, pro-level feel, precision workability, and a hint of added forgiveness
- Refined shaping, guided by Srixon's tour staff, for a cleaner, more exacting profile, including thinner toplines than the previous generation
- Proprietary i-Forged Condensed Forging inserts strengthen the hosel, allowing for softer steel in the body for unprecedented feel and control (tungsten weighting perfects CG placement for ideal performance)
- PureFrame iQ features an optimally expanded ridge of forged steel behind the sweet spot for greater MOI and an incredibly soft, stable feel
- Tour V.T. Sole (a proprietary combination of sole widths, bounce angles, and notches) encourages a smooth glide through fairway, rough, and sand without losing speed, even if you enter the turf slightly behind the ball
- Progressive Grooves: Wider grooves in the 3i-7i are ideal for longer shots. Closer-set grooves on the 8i-AW cut through grass and debris to enhance spin on approach shots. On every loft, laser milling between grooves enhances friction in all conditions.
