S.U.E. is a sound add-on board for existing ALISHA builds. It is not a standalone helmet controller.

What S.U.E. Does

S.U.E. (Sound Unit Expansion) is a compact MP3 sound board that connects directly to your ALISHA board via the built-in expansion port. Once connected, your ALISHA gesture control triggers sound effects alongside the faceplate and LED functions ? no extra buttons, no extra wiring complexity.

Audio Output Options

Option 1: On-board amplifier + speaker
Connect an 8-ohm (1?3W) speaker to the speaker output. Mono sound, good for most helmet builds. This is the standard setup.

Option 2: Aux port + external speaker
Connect any powered speaker or Bluetooth speaker via the 3.5mm aux port for louder or stereo output. Useful for display builds or louder environments.

Sound Files ? What to Load

The three default Iron Man helmet sound effects (helmet open, helmet close, boot sequence) are available free from the Crash Works 3D GitHub:

To set up your SD card:

1. Get a microSD card ? FAT32 formatted, any size
2. Download the sound files from the GitHub link above
3. Copy the files to the root of the SD card following the naming convention in the documentation
4. Insert the card into the S.U.E. SD card slot
