Cooking pizza on steel instead of stone is up to 50% faster—and unlike stone, this pan is virtually indestructible.
How Each Pan Is Made
Every pizza pan is cut to order on a CNC plasma table from ¼″ solid steel.
From there, each pan goes through a hands-on finishing process:
Edges are carefully ground and softened by hand for a smooth, rounded feel (grandma-safe 😉)
The steel is soaked for several hours in a strong vinegar solution to remove mill scale and any residue from cutting and handling
Edges are refined again and the surface is polished to a smooth, clean finish
This process takes at least a full day per pan. These are not mass-produced — they are made one at a time, by me.
Seasoning & Care
Everyone has their own preferred oil, so seasoning is left to the buyer.
Before shipping, I apply a heavy coat of avocado oil and wrap the pan securely in multiple layers of stretch wrap for protection.
When your pan arrives:
Wash with warm water
Dry thoroughly
Season using the included instructions
You’ll be cooking in no time.
Size & Weight Notes
19″ is the largest diameter that fits most standard U.S. ovens
That size square weighs approximately 26 lbs
A typical frozen pizza is about 13″
