A Modern Tribute to the Legendary HP Voyager Series of calculators.

The PX-VOY is an Educational DIY calculator kit that faithfully emulates the iconic HP-15C and HP-16C (software selectable). Both top and bottom panels are reversible: one side labeled for the 15C, the other for the 16C.

Embark on a fun and educational experience by building your own calculator. Ideal for electronics enthusiasts and fans of classic HP calculators, the PX-VOY offers both a rewarding project and a powerful tool.

• New Microcontroller: Powered by a single AVR128DA 8-bit microcontroller, with selectable speeds from 8MHz to 32MHz.
• Audible Feedback: Equipped with a speaker for audible keypress feedback.
• High-Contrast Display: Features an ultra-low power monochrome reflective LCD with a resolution of 250x122 pixels (no backlight).
• Real Time Clock: Includes a real-time clock using a 32.768KHz crystal.
• Power: Operates on a single CR2032 3V battery or can be powered via USB cable.
• Low Power Consumption: around <35µA when ideal, <8µA when powered down.
• Preprogrammed Microcontroller: The microcontroller comes preprogrammed.
• Connectivity: Supports Serial RS232 connectivity for flashing and data transfer, using a USB to serial cable.
• Tactile Switches: Features tactile switches with a force of 70gf.
• Color Keycaps: Includes color keycaps for easy identification.

Note: To switch between the 15c and 16c covers, you need to remove the screws and flip the covers.
