Every MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic+ baby bottle includes a SkinSoft™ silicone nipple that closely mimics the natural feel of breastfeeding. This makes the East Start Anti-Colic+ bottles ideal for breastfed babies supporting seamless transitions between breastfeeding and baby bottle feeding. Developed with medical experts the nipple has a unique shape and soft texture, encourages a familiar, comforting feeding experience, making these bottles perfect for newborn babies as well as older infants. MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic+ premium bottles have a 94% acceptance by babies, based on years of market research & parent feedback. MAM's Anti-Colic nipples are lovingly designed to resemble a mother's nipple during breastfeeding. To achieve this, MAM observed infants breastfeeding using ultrasound technology. The result is a unique flat symmetrical shaped nipple that fits perfectly in baby's mouth and makes the switch back-and-forth between breast and bottle easy. All MAM nipples are made from BPA free silicone. These nipples fit all MAM bottles and are suitable for both breast milk and formula. The MAM nipple is available in five different flow rates: 0 – extra slow flow (newborn), 1 - slow flow (0+ months), 2 - medium flow (2+ months), 3 - fast flow (4+ months), and x - extra fast flow for thicker liquids (6+ months). All MAM nipples are interchangeable, so your bottle grows with your baby from extra slow flow to extra fast flow. These durable bottles are engineered to handle high heat so they can be used in a sterilizer or bottle warmer, cooled quickly, & cleaned in the dishwasher. Parents love the simple built-in self-sterilizing feature: simply add 1.5 tablespoons/ 20ml of water, assemble the bottle, and microwave for just 3 minutes—no separate sterilizer needed. These bottles are thoughtfully designed to be easy to clean thoroughly and sterilize. Each bottle has just six parts, a bottle body, a bottle base, bottle top and nipple, cap, and the unique anti colic value. After cleaning or sterilizing please follow these simple steps to put your MAM Easy Start Anti Colic+ Bottle together. Following these steps will ensure trouble free use and no leaks. Starting with the bottle base place the Anti-colic valve in the base with the “THIS WAY UP” message visible. Do not push it down. Instead take the bottle cap, holding it by the top and gently push down on the anti-colic value so it fits snugly. Next screw the bottle body into the base so it is tight. Look inside the bottle, the valve should sit cleanly and snug inside the bottle with no little snags in the joint between the bottle body and the base. Finally, fit the nipple through the bottle top and fit to the bottle and add the bottle cap.
