The Generac GB1000 (Model 8025) is a 1,086Wh portable power station designed for people who need reliable, clean electricity without the noise, fumes, or fuel logistics of a gas generator. With 1,600W of continuous AC output and a 3,200W peak surge rating, it handles everything from a standard refrigerator to a CPAP machine to power tools — indoors or out. Real-world runtime, confirmed by Generac. The GB1000 powers a refrigerator (~120W) for approximately 7.5 hours, a CPAP machine (~40W) for up to 22.5 hours, a 50-inch TV for over 8 hours, and provides roughly 15 full laptop charges or 82 phone charges per full battery cycle. A coffee maker or electric kettle draws close to 1,000–1,200W, which limits runtime to under one hour — plan accordingly for high-draw appliances. Multiple ways to recharge. The GB1000 reaches 0–80% charge in 2.1 hours from a standard 120V wall outlet (450W max input). It also accepts solar input — any compatible panel between 10–28VDC up to 468W with a built-in MPPT controller, no external controller required. Solar panels are sold separately. The included 12V car charger cord lets you top up while driving, though Generac recommends charging only while the vehicle engine is running to protect the car battery. Combine all input sources simultaneously for the fastest possible recharge. A complete power ecosystem in one unit. The GB1000 features three 120V AC outlets, two USB-A ports (15.5W each), two USB-C ports (65W each), a 12V car port, and a built-in 15W Qi-compatible wireless charging pad — 10 output options total. The 4.7-inch multi-color display shows live power draw, battery percentage, and estimated remaining runtime in real time. Built to last and easy to move. At 29 lbs with an ergonomic handle and integrated cord storage, one person can carry it anywhere. Parallel-ready ports allow two GB1000 units to be linked for doubled output.
