Product Details Preserved frogs are excellent specimens for studying vertebrate anatomy and introducing students to body systems. These specimens are economical compared to larger vertebrates such as preserved pigs and cats. They are also convenient and simple to use because: They are easy to dissect and store for future use. There is no need for a scalpel all cuts can be made with dissecting scissors! Their small size makes them easy for students to handle and manage. All fluids are easily contained on a small tray. Frogs that are 4 to 5" in size may be either the common grass frog ( Rana forreri ) or the American bullfrog ( Lithobates catesbeianus ). Product Features Size, 4 to 5". No color injection ideal for general anatomical studies. Multiple specimens are bulk packed and shipped in a vacuum-sealed bag. Prices listed are for 1 specimen.
