BLIKA Black Swage Threaded Stud Tension Ends are engineered to give you that professional, locked-in finish - without constant re-tightening or premature rust spots. Each fitting starts as T316 marine-grade stainless steel, then receives a durable black coating. This combination resists salt spray, UV exposure, and seasonal temperature swings equally well. Whether your project sits on a breezy coastal deck or a humid indoor staircase, these terminals keep their hold and their dark, uniform look. The design solves a common frustration: how to terminate a 1/8″ black cable cleanly on wood or metal posts. With a 4″ long threaded section and 1/4″-20 thread size, you get enough bite through 4x4 or 2x2 posts. Drill a standard 1/4″ hole, pass the cable through, swage the stud onto the wire, then tighten the included lock nut and washer against the post face. The opposite end of your cable run will need a separate tensioner - these studs act as the fixed anchor side, giving you a solid reference point for adjusting overall tension. Installation does require a hydraulic swaging tool (crimper) and a clean cable cut. That’s not a shortcut; it’s how you achieve a rated, slip-proof connection. Once swaged, the joint easily exceeds the breaking strength of the wire itself. Inside the box you receive 50 black threaded terminal studs, each supplied with a washer and lock nut, plus a spanner multi tool for the nuts. That is enough hardware for a medium to large railing layout with plenty of extras for practice swages or future repairs.
